In the spotlight with award-winning depot, Pall-Ex Logistics (Dorset)

At the Future of Excellence Annual Awards evening this year, Pall-Ex Logistics (Dorset) were proud winners of the Fortec Business Development Award, in recognition of its ongoing success in the monthly Commercial Excellence scheme and high levels of growth throughout 2024. 

We heard from the Pall-Ex Logistics (Dorset) team as they shared what the award win means to everyone at the depot.

How has Pall-Ex Logistics (Dorset) evolved over the last few years?

In August 2024, we united under the Pall-Ex Logistics umbrella which has strengthened our brand and increased our service offering significantly. Since then, we have seen the business grow, brought on a number of successful customers and strengthened partnerships with our existing customer base.

What have been some of the highlights at Pall-Ex Logistics (Dorset) recently?

Winning the Fortec Business Development Award has definitely been a highlight for the business, it is great to be recognised for the hard work that the team put in every day to ensure that we are succeeding.

What does it mean to you to win the Fortec Business Development Award?

It means a lot to everyone in the team as it demonstrates that all of our hard work is recognised and encourages everyone to keep pushing for success. The combination of providing high service levels, bringing on new business and customer retention have been key areas of focus at Pall-Ex Logistics (Dorset) for some time now, so to be celebrated for our success at the Annual Awards evening was great.

Were you surprised about winning the award?

Yes we were, the shortlist was made up of some outstanding members and we knew the competition would be fierce, so to come away with the win on the night was an excellent achievement for us all.

Did you enjoy the awards evening?

It is always a fantastic night and gives us the opportunity to catch up with other depots from across the network that we don’t see very often. We look forward to the event every year.
